Hi Ladies,
I am 10weeks pregnant now and I have a very hard time behind me!! So I thought it's the best time now to spoil myself with a relaxing babymoon-vacancy Unfortunately my boyfriend is too busy to join me, so I have to do it by myself!!I already found some articles about babymoon-holidays online, but I can't find some proper offers!! Especially not for a single person Did someone of you already had a babymoon? Or do you know a special center, hotel or retreat which has got special offers for single pregnant ladies??? I would really appreciate to hear about your experiences or get some good tips of you!! Thanks a lot!! |

Myself, DP and my mother went for a 3 week camping trip in the Kimberley / Cape Leveque when I was about 14 weeks. And it was awesome.
2nd trimester is a great time to go - you're hopefully over most of the morning sickness etc and should have some energy and not yet be too huge and awkward. I don't know if you'll find a lot of specific babymoon offers but think about maybe flying to a different city, spending some time shopping etc and plan a day in a day spa - most cities will have some sort of pregnancy day spa. Even just spending a few days in a nice hotel relaxing and hanging by the pool could be really nice. Maybe even a yoga / relaxation type retreat?? I'm sure you're aware already that you won't have as much stamina as normal and that planning gourmet experiences is probably a bit of a waste! Whatever you do I'm sure you'll love it. |

It depends how "all out" you want to go. The Husband and I are about to head to Bali for 10 days of doing absolutely nothing (27wks), but it's also our belated honeymoon.
In researching our trip, there were quite a few hotels in Australia that offered packages including day spa treatments. One I remember standing out was Peppers somewhere in QLD, but it is at the upper end of the price range. This post has been edited by Pharmacist.erin: 31/01/2013, 07:46 PM |
