After 4 months of back and forth discussions and negotiations, after which I had resigned myself to accepting a name I didn't love with an open heart, we have agreed on a name we both love: Thomas Anthony B..., Anthony after his paternal grandfather as is family tradition. I can't tell you how happy I am, ever since I thought of it my heart has been singing, "this is it, it's Tom!!" but I was trying not to get too attached as I was leaving the final decision from the shortlist to my husband. At 39 weeks, I can finally relax and have myself a baby soon. :-)

What a great feeling - good for you!
I know how frustrating and heartbreaking it can be to resign yourself to a name you don't love, and also the joy of not having to do that in the end Enjoy your sweet little Tom. |
