Hi everyone! I got some very (very!) faint BFPs from about 8dpo, but got a ridiculously dark pos about three days ago. I can't stop looking at it!

Feeling surprisingly sprightly, I have a two year old DS and I seem to remember feeling really horrid in the early weeks. Perhaps this is yet to come, eep!

Looking forward to sharing the journey with some lovely ladies!

ETA: EDD 5th October.

laughing2.gif I reckon it's still to come! I remember not having any idea I was even pregnant at this stage the last two times.

So were you both trying? Cbmum is it your first?

Yeah, we were trying. DS was conceived first go, so I was expecting to get pregnant quickly again the second time. Finally, about five months after we began TTC, here we are. all it took was a bit more, erm, effort on DHs part wink.gif

Were you TTC CallMeProtart?

And, may i ask, what's with all the Protartyness? I've clearly missed something exciting!

Are you all feeling ok? I do have sore boobs, plus I feel pretty tired at the end of the day- but I could put that down to being busy at work (not the boobs, I don't work with my boobs or anything...).

Hey! This is number 3 for me. I think I must be crazy blink.gif but this bub is very much wanted. First crack here. We were thinking next month then after New Years etc, I was like 'what the heck!' Suddenly I was ovulating the next day and bam! So here we are biggrin.gif
Symptoms wise, pretty good at the moment. Last time I was sick from conception to birth so already better. Ill enjoy any nausea free time I can!
Lea my husband was hoping for more 'effort' I just feel very blessed hands.gif
Callmeprotart hopefully the nausea might give you a break this time?? Fingers crossed

Looks like a fertile bunch over here original.gif
Le-a - yep my last two were one shot wonders so we wondered if this would be the same - but have also had some friends who had two in close succession and then took 8 years to get the third so we didn't want to take it for granted - but yep, another one shot wonder here!
All fine here - I feel like my relaxin over-production has already started as I put my back out last week and I haven't done that since I was 18. And now I'm feeling pelvis twinges - had pelvic instability last time - probably psychosomatic but it's the thing that scares the crap out of me with pregnancy. Every time I go through this could be the time I don't get better and end up permanently disabled sad.gif

Hmmm, bit heavy - onto lighter topics - you must have missed the Kochie breastfeeding thread! It's maybe a week old and must have got to about 40 pages so shouldn't be too hard to find - I think about 35 or so pages in someone accused mothers who didn't breastfeed 'discreetly' of being tarty and trying to show everyone their boobs rolleyes.gif And then referred to anyone who supported them as 'protart'... which although the sentiment was terrible, was an excellent word!

cbmum how old are your others? Hope your nausea holds off. Mine hasn't historically been too bad past 1st trimester (touch wood) - usually it's the tiredness that kills me. And the pelvis cry1.gif TBH the pelvis thing is half the physical impact and half the mental fear about it. It makes me feel so vulnerable and out of control.

CallMeProtart, that sounds bloody painful and scary. I've got no experience with that kind of pain, and I in no way mean to belittle what youve been through with it, but the other day at work I had an "audience" of customers (think retail) and spun around to show someone something and copped the corner of the bench (ouch!) fair in the vag bone (ouch ouch ouch!!!). Trufact. I had tears in my eyes. And I had to act all cool and proffessional until I could walk into the storeroom and let out a quiet faaaaaaaaarrrrrkkkkkkkkk.... I've got a big bruise. Hope the baby is ok...

Sorry, not sure where I was going with that. Guess I just needed to share that with you all...

I did start reading the Kochie thread but the stupid started making me all stabby so I gave up. As if it's tarty to breastfeed. I was always too busy trying to eat something/drink/read/talk to friends/catch up on EB to be thinking tarty thoughts while I was breastfeeding.

Well done Cbmum, that's some efficient baby making!

Have you guys done loads of HPTs? I've done about 437, but I still have the urge to go buy more to wee on tomorrow. This despite getting a really good positive just a couple of days ago... I think I'm addicted...

Yeah, if you didn't get to the 'native' comments you haven't hit the real stupid yet. It was a goldmine. But funny. Protart was a highlight.

Is HPT the pregnancy tests? I've done 2 so far - there's another 2 from the pack left in the cupboard which I might do one of next week and see if the line is a bit darker - then again if I still don't have my period next week then I'm pregnant anyway!
Haha I can see the addictiveness!

Yeah the pain I've experienced with the pelvic thing is probably not worse than what you described - it's largely the fear aspect - fear of how much worse it COULD get before the pregnancy is over (some people end up in wheelchairs etc) - but more especially fear of it not getting better afterwards - for about 8% of people it never recovers, which kind of rules you out of most forms of excercise/sport for life - and that's if it's mild.
Not that I'm sporty, but I do dream of going back to aikido and maybe getting my blackbelt someday. The pain is really annoying but the disability aspect just really gets to me emotionally and I get very overwhelmed and panicky and depressed at times about it. I guess a constant feeling of apprehension.

Meanwhile, somebody tell me what a BFP actually stands for? I'm guessing the last letter is 'positive'...
