What do you think of danietta/danyetta/danjetta?
Bub's nearly baked and this is our only girls name idea, but we've suddenly got cold feet! Would you assume bub will get called Danny? I'm not keen on Danny as a nickname, so if it's likely to go that way I might prefer another name... Updated: We're now looking at Danika/Danica, but hubby and I prefer different pronunciations! Any ideas? This post has been edited by brown-eyed girl: 30/01/2013, 07:31 AM |

*cough, cough*
I would think someone has mushed Danielle with something like Henrietta - and ended up with Danietta. Sorry, OP - there are at least 1 million beautiful girls' names out there - Danietta is not one of them. |

I'm not a fan sorry - I prefer Daniella. If you use it thoughI 'd spell it Danietta. And yep - I would say that Danni would be the likely nickname.

Never heard it before?
I prefer Daniella, the tt for me is too hard a sound and I think she'll always have to correct people. It's NMS but its your baby |

If you don't like Danny do you like Etta? She's bound to be one of the two in our nn society, if you don't like them then you need to start looking for new names!
I'm sorry but I'm not sure what to suggest that is in the same vein as Danietta. ETA I think all Danielle/Daniella names could end up as Danny. This post has been edited by Zanbam: 28/01/2013, 03:56 PM |

Did you make that name up?
Don't really like it as it sounds like you have mashed two names together. Sorry. |

I think Danietta is a bad idea if you don't like Danni.
What about Brietta, or Brigetta? |
