Gold! First time I've been first poster in a new forum I was waiting for this forum to come up. I guess that means, despite all my hesitations, that I am a wee bit excited! Have done 2 tests now and got a faint line on both, so I'm taking that as a yes Plus my period was due yesterday or day before and hasn't come yet. Plus DH and I get pregnant as soon as we look at eachother, it seems. So who else is here? How certain are you? Are you surprised/happy/scared? For me it will be no. 3 and intended to be the last - so I hope to find the positives in pregnancy a bit more this time given that it's the last time my body will grow a baby. After this, I'm just a dead twig on the evolutionary tree!

Congrats CallMeProtart!
This is baby number two, and I'm packing my daks I tells ya! Don't get me wrong, I'm excited, but at the same time I realise life has just got easier with a two year old and we're aout to welcome a newborn into the mix! Yew! Back to breastfeeding, gazillions of nappies, sleepless nights, and those dreamy, goobery, first smiles...
It's got to be easier going from one child to two, than from none to one, right?
Many years ago I had a miscarriage, part of me is also freaking out about that happening again but I suppose all pregnant women have this fear.

Oops only just saw this! Well I think a 2 year gap is great. I'm a bit worried about the gap being too big with my existings - will be 4 and 5 years which is a bit much, to my mind. And yeah, once you taste freedom of a two year old it's hard to go back - let alone a 4yo! Although tell you what it will be nice to have one that can't answer back... Yes that would be freaky That's always kind of at the back of my mind too - especially so early on. And I ate that listeria cheese that was recalled at Christmas! So that's helping my paranoia...

Hi,
I got my very first ever BFP last Wednesday on 9dpo, This is our first baby, I'm super excited. After doing about 12 FR tests over the past week and getting all lines, and getting darker and yesterday I did a clear blue and got pregnant 2-3 I'm pretty much 99% sure. Just have to go to dr to confirm, then DH will finally believe it! After lots of negs past few months he is having trouble believing we're having a baby!!

Hi ladies! MrsRadient, good to see you here! Just like MrsRadient, I got my BFP last Wed @ 9dpo. First IVF attempt (male factor) - very lucky with that! At first I thought it may be the trigger injection, but I knew it wasn't when the line got darker every day (now darker than the control line). Given that and how I feel, I am 100% certain of my condition. This is also our first baby, and I'm super excited too! Given it's only 4 weeks and 1 day so I'm pretty nervous, but feeling positive just the same. I will feel a lot better after the viability scan in a couple weeks or so. EDD 7th October.

Hi all.
I had a positive test last wednesday, the day after my period was due. I had zero inkling I could be pregnant & only bought the test to prove my partner wrong. well that backfired on me when that second line came up clearly & instantly (on all 4 tests lol). Still getting my head around it. Due date Oct 9th
My children are 12.5years & 14years old! my partner has an 18months old, 3 yo & 4yo and this is our first together. we had planned to try later in the year pending my health but this one now was unexpected.
I am currently in the recovery & healing phase after rupturing 4 arteries so things are rather stressful but my doctors are ok with it pending close monitoring. I have to attend a high risk clinic asap & figure out how we are going to manage things but straight off they don't think I can go full term or deliver naturally which upsets me but under the circumstances I am going to have to work with what they think is best. I am ok with it but my partner is so worried & stressed which I understand but I want him to relax a little so he can enjoy this whole experience.
