After five, FIVE, years of lurking I am finally posting here and I am having a ball! So if you are a lurking lurker, come and say hi! Tell me about yourself. What are your favourite things and what brings you to EB?

A bit about me; I'm 37, I'm on maternity leave with six month old DS, my hair always looks untidy, I"m a raging chocoholic, my favourite movie is Flying High, I love Toblerone cocktails and I love to read renovation blogs and some old school Johanna Lindsey. I came to EB in 2007 when a friend of mine was pregnant, which got me curious about the whole baby-making bizzo and when I typed in "pregnancy" in Google, it brought me here.

So please pop a toe in the water and say hi! blush.gif

Welcome to the light! wink.gif

Seriously, I think this is a great idea. The more the merrier - and people like me who post too much need other people to enrich our discussions! (I promise that's not code for "fresh blood").

I'm a lurker. I hardly ever post.

Oh wait... laughing2.gif

Actually when I first joined way back when puss was a kitten I lurked for probably a couple of years before I first posted. Once you get started it IS fun.

I agree with the OP. De-lurk yourselves. We're mostly harmless. original.gif

waves.gif Hi silverstreak! I was a bit of a lurker in my previous account but have jumped in a bit more since rejoining. I agree that it's much more fun to join in!

I haven't tried a Toblerone cocktail but that sounds like something I'd like to go swimming in. biggrin.gif

Hi sata korsa (not sure how to do the squiggle!), Toblerone cocktails are yummy and taste just like the chocolate! By the way, what does your username mean?

I actually wished I'd lurked for a while to be honest. I dived in head first!! Should have tested the water first and sussed out the best pool for me! But I've since found the pools I like to swim in here and enjoy being part of EB.
