DD & I would like to go on a holiday this year. We would like a nice relaxing beach holiday for about 1 week. Where would you recommend?

N.T., looking at a not too expensive holiday, it would involve flying to the destination
ETA Holiday would either be in June or September This post has been edited by mybabysmumma: 28/01/2013, 11:16 AM |

A cruise, visit different beaches, nice relaxing holiday where everything is done for you. Surprisingly not that expensive considering all your accommodation, activities and food is included.
Something like this? http://www.ozcruising.com.au/Pages/CruiseB...px?MY=June_2013 |

Wouldn't SE Asia be cheaper than Aus for you?

Cairns???Not so much beach in Cairns itself but Palm Beach and Port Douglas have them and are lovely spots. As is Cairns really. And best of all will still be warm in June. Gold Coast (direct flight on airnorth from Darwin) and cheapish accomodation keeping costs down but wont be very warm there in June and a shock to territorians used to the warmth I should imagine. September would be better than June for QLD. Second the SE asia suggestion. Probably cheaper for you than an Australian destination???

Bali - Short hop from Darwin. Lots for kids to do. Cheap. Just avoid Kuta!
