I have never used the spray/foaming ones. Well I have never actually cleaned an oven to be quite honest ph34r.gif Anyhoo I am after recommendations.

What do you use? What is the best?

I outsource it ph34r.gif

$120 and this guy comes to do it...pulls the oven apart, applies something like a pressure hose to it! 2 hours later, it's sparkling!

Me three!

We moved in here and the original 15 year old oven (rental) was beyond putrid. $105 and an hour or so later, it looked brand new. Non toxic, chemical free. I haven't cleaned an oven in a long, long time biggrin.gif

I just came back in here to say that after reading this thread I called Ovenu. The guy has just been and wow, just wow. I cannot believe how clean it is.

If you don't have the money to get someone in (I've done it both ways), I recommend Easy Off Oven Cleaner Low Fume.

Spray every surface generously (best to buy 2 cans), leave for an hour then, before you start wiping it out, spray with white vinegar. The vinegar will neutralise the caustic cleaner and means it's less dangerous if you get some on your hands/arms. I also find the vinegar removes the residue and your oven is less likely to smell funny the first few times you use it after cleaning. HTH.
