Williams Sonoma has $10 flat rate shipping to Aus at the moment. We filled half a suitcase from them when we were holidaying in the us a couple of years ago.

Seriously though, check your prices before shopping with them. I just bought a whole bunch of cookware about 2 weeks ago. I spent a little over 2k on All Clads, Scanpan CTX range and Wusthof knives.

I looked at Williams Sonoma for all of them but their prices were outrageous. Believe me, the true shipping cost is built into the price, plus plus plus. They have great prices when you look in USD, but when you tell them you are shopping in AUD and shipping to Australia, the prices change and exceed the Australian RRP's!!

Take this for example as this is one of the pieces I bought. (Scanpan CTX 32cm Chefs Pan)

From Williams Sonoma - $471.10 plus $10 post

From Kitchenwaresuperstore.com.au - $179.95 with free shipping. I ordered on the Friday and it was delivered on the Tuesday morning!!

yourhomedepo.com.au, Everten, Le Domaine etc were more expensive from $20-$60 more expensive for this one piece but none went over $250 including post, compared to Williams Sonoma's $481.10. The All Clads were much much cheaper from Peters of Kensington. Everten had the cheapest knives. I almost fell off my chair when I saw Willia,s Sonoma's prices.

How much did they bump the price up by?

It just so happens I went to their website this morning actually as well because I'm in the market for a Silpat pastry/baking sheet. They were the most expensive by far. Amazon who ship to Australia were slightly more expensive than an Ebay seller but I went with Amazon anyway.
