Soft kitty, warm kitty, little ball of fur.
I feel disassociated from my hands.

I can feel my hands but my arms feel like they're missing.

Very odd.

ED Dr thought it was most likely an incident of very low blood pressure brought on by the stench of prawns.

I haven't had it since, so I can't say.

My brain has always been a bit weird, though. I went through bouts of depression/anxiety in highschool which would convince me that the world was pixellated and i was living in a video game, which was why I felt like I was floating, not walking.

Kind of like when you're at the edge of the ocean, and when the water races away, your feel like you're flying backwards?

This is one of my migraine symptoms. First is this disassociation thing you describe (very weird sensation), then blurry vision, then the headache.

what for?

I'm not currently experiencing depressed or anxious thoughts.
These aren't my migraine symptoms.

It just struck me as intellectually odd that my hands felt like they were seperated from my body. shrug.gif

It's only when I'm at the computer - pretty sure just an effect of sitting too long in one position.

Have a friend who has similar problems, she has recently been diagnosed with MS. You need to get checked out thoroughly to discount anything serious.

Train your dog, it's worth it!
Wander back to your GP and ask for a referral to a Neurologist.

Its probably nothing, but what you've described sounds similar to the earliest MS symptoms experienced by a couple of my closest friends. The 'missing' hands is also right on target.

Better to eliminate that as a potential cause, rather than letting it go untreated.
