Hi, I want to buy an Stainless Steel drink bottle for my kids but I'm wondering which is the best one to buy? I've seen them with plastic sipper tops which I know will wear and I'd be interested in one where I could easily replace the tops when the kids chew on them - is there a brand that is more environmentally friendly and provides replacement lids? My kids are 6 and 3 so I know they'll get worn.
Edited again to refer to Stainless Steel bottles. This post has been edited by Juni: 26/01/2013, 11:08 PM |

You want stainless steel not aluminium.
http://www.ecodirect.com.au/innate_drink_bottles.php and you can buy replacement lids. |

Stainless is much better than aluminium. There's plenty around, just check the label.

Further question.. would there be one (with replaceable lids/caps) that would fit into your standard Smash lunchbox bottle holder section? (I may be up too late as I can't think of the right word for things!)

My boys had Sigg's that lasted for years (they're still fine just a bit dinted and scratched) and they fit in the drink bottle bit as do most of the the bottles you can get. I'm pretty sure Smash even do a stainless drink bottle now.

I definitely felt like the metal bottles seemed too big to fit in the bottle holder on the Smash lunchbox. I'll check when I'm in the supermarket next.
