I hate my stupid mouth that says stupid things when I want to be taken seriously.

Our neighbours' 21yo boy is having a massive Australia Day party. All day, thumping music and raucous yelling - all good, it doesn't happen often. But some of his friends are obnoxious drunks who like to hang out on their roof and throw crap at our house. And pee on our roof. And chuck bottles in our driveway. So I went out and yelled nicely up to the roofline, "please stop throwing things at our house, it is upsetting our children". Several minutes later, DH yells out "no, absolutely not - don't p*ss on our roof". Then I went face to face with a guy throwing bottles down our driveway and said they were getting out of line - we're ok with the music and all, but leave our property alone and let us relax in our own home.

He said I was sooooo gay, and I walked up really close to him, asking what his problem is.
Him: "go on, I know you want to touch me"
Me: "no, really I don't - but you don't threaten me and I want you to leave our property"
Him: pointing to DH, "I can see he wants to have a go at me..."
Me: "of course my husband wants to touch me"

ddoh.gif I meant to say protect me.

And then they all went away laughing at me. blush.gif

What's the earliest you can get a lawn mower or leaf blower happening tomorrow? Any possibility you could (legitimately) be doing it right outside his window at, say, 7 am?

Put it this way, he will feel like sh*te tomorrow....

I can't emphasise how imperative it is that you do this. And also get your kids doing some high-pitched screaming, do you have a toddler handy? They're really good at this. You can borrow mine if you like.

But in all seriousness, throwing things at your house and driveway and p*ssing on your roof - I would have called the police already. That's disgusting behaviour, and totally not within the bounds of acceptable neighbour behaviour no matter how infrequent the parties!!!!!

I wouldn't care how nice a 21 yo is or how infrequently he has parties. Throwing bottles and p*ssing on your roof? WTF? I'd be calling the cops! And bring on lawn mowers and leaf blowers.

Oh and roll2.gif at your 'of course my husband wants to touch me' roll2.gif

Gotta agree, its disugsting behaviour and defiinitely worth calling the police.

I actually think you defused a potentially bad situation by coming out with that last line. They seemed to want to have a go and in the end walked away laughing.

I wouldn't like your neighbours at all.

I would have called the police. Not on. If they continued you could charge them.
