I'm 6 weeks today and my boobs are already driving me nuts. DH reckons they look like they've doubled in size since this morning! My bras feel too small and my top is tight. I'm usually a 10D but I must be a DD now. I'm a slim build and just feel so top heavy and uncomfortable. Need to buy some more bras I guess but I'm worried they're going to just keep growing and growing! Where do you even buy bras bigger than DD??? Anyone else feel my pain?

Sorry, I'm a drop-in, but i can totally sympathise. I went from a 10dd to a 12f when pregnant (and fyi most stores will sell up to f, you just have to look. I got my bras from myer) and now i'm breastfeeding i don't even want to know.

If you're in Melbourne, there's a great lady who fits bras - I got some while pregnant and then again just before I was due (the latter being for breast-feeding).

I really advise you to be fitted if possible - makes all the difference!

Some maternity brands go up to a K (my local store in the ACT will be stocking up to a k I think).
Make sure you get fitted properly, now and a few weeks before the baby comes as you may well change size. I actually lost weight while pregnant and had to get refitted a few weeks after the baby came.

I'm not from this group either, not sure where you live, but look for stockist for brands like Hot milk, Cake Lingerie, Freya etc in your area. They go to large cup sizes (I'm a 12H in hot milk and 12GG in freya so I feel your pain, I'm really over my boobs atm though that said they're usually a 12F or G, but I do feel huge atm, and am not used to not wearing wires). If you're in brisbane you could try big girls don't cry anymore, or isabella's passion both stock large cup size maternity bra's (and I think both have online stores).

I only got fitted a few days ago, and the lady that fitted me was saying they do level out after a while until you give birth, but you can also use the straps to adjust to allow the bra a little bit extra room in the cup.

OP, my boobs exploded in the first 12 weeks then didn't really change after that. I was a 10DD before pregnancy and went up to 12DD when I was breastfeeding.

Your ribs expand as your baby grows, which increases the band size of your bra too.

Calm down. Just because you increase a lot in the beginning doesn't mean you will keep on growing at the same rate.

I don't belong here either but I started as a 10D ended up being fitted 12H around 20-25 weeks. I went to David Jones.

I went from a 12D to 12DD/14DD around the 6-7 week mark. They haven't increased in size that much since then and I am now 37 weeks. You will find 10Es in some makes, or you might find going up to a 12DD is more comfy. I have bought some maternity bras in 14DD and even bought one 16DD (back strap is quite tight compared to others) as you often have to wear them over night (with breast pads if you are very leaky, which I was last time) otherwise you end up saturating your night wear and sheets.

I was a 14B and am now up to a 14DD and I'm 6weeks tmrw.......not looking forward to how far they're going to go......
