For us, it has been a quiet one.

We had friends staying last night, so it was a very late night. The kids even got up late this morning, for them.

So we then had a quiet wonderful brekky on the balcony, and they headed off late morning.

We then went to the dog beach to give the dog a run.

After lunch DH slept (very late /heavy night for him last night), DS stuffed around, and I have been doing hockey mails etc etc.

As last night was so late I don't think we will even hit the fireworks tonight. We also have an early start for nippers tomorrow.

What about you?

Lol, was a regular Saturday here too, with the bonus of a MASSIVE storm right now which meant home delivery for our Chinese dinner, instead of us picking it up.
they'll get a good tip though!!

I wasted my whole day looking for the connections needed to use the water dispenser in my fridge. No one had it or could tell me where to get it.

What fresh hell is this?
I slothed and make my mum a birthday cake.

Currently I'm trying to figure out where respect for the flag comes into play when you have just seen the d***head down the road hitch down his Australian flag boardies, take a p*ss in the corner of the park, and then hoist them back up again wacko.gif

Working but not too bad as it's a boat that does swims with dolphins and seals. We thought it would be busy on the water with Australia day celebrations but it was suprisingly quiet.
We do plan to have a beer or two to celebrate the day after the kids have gone to bed. It would be rude not to. biggrin.gif

Visit to the optometrist, grocery shopping. Get home to a ****ing huge mess... and a friend that had a sleep over being picked up 3.5 hours late. Youngest two children fighting like cat and dog, middle child not wanting to go to nan and pop for a sleep over (which he organised himself), he does eventually go. After carrying on a like a pork chop,Despite me saying he didn't have to go if he didn't want to, he comes out with his bag and says to his nan 'are we going now?' oldest child whining because he wants to go to the beach, even though we spent all day at waterslides yesterday, went fishing last night, was allowed to stay up until 11.30 last night with his mate, I made them pancakes for breakfast as requested, and we are going beach fishing tomorrow morning and he will certainly be able to have a swim then. So generally feeling pretty annoyed all round. About to open a bottle of wine.
