What is your favorite vegetarian or vegan cookbook? I'm trying to cut out some of the meat that my family eats and am after ideas.

Websites are good if you know any but, I thought a cookbook as I kind of collect them & I have a voucher for a bookstore to use.

Thanks original.gif

I have found the ones published by Iskcon (Hare Krishna society) to be really good. However the one they give away for free I didn't find good. I'm not sure what they have out now, but this was some years ago, but there was one really good one by I think his name was Kumar Dasi. And they had other good ones as well.

Also Madhur Jaffrey published a good one a while back. Not sure if it is still available.

Father Dougal for the Papacy!
Yes to Plenty, it is gorgeous. Ottolenghi writes for the Guardian so you can check his stuff out there.

Charmaine Solomon's Vegetarian book is excellent and I second the Madhur Jaffrey books.

Moosewood cookbooks are good as well.

Yes, this book is amazing.

I have thrashed The Cranks Bible by Nadine Abensur over the years. Yummy and for the most part does what it says on the tin.

Moosewood - yum!

My parents were given this back in the 90's, fantastic food. I should order one myself.
