If a cat doesn't like you, then what's wrong with you?
I had an early gender scan today and the sonographer was confident saying go out and buy x coloured clothes and that she was 99% sure of the gender despite a bit of cord in the way.

Would you be happy with that or wait until the morph scan to be sure?

I'd be more likely to trust them if they said boy.

either way, I wouldn't be in too much of a hurry to rush out and go colour crazy until the baby is born! wink.gif

I would trust the sonographer. . . .
But if your having a 20 week scan there is no harm in waiting if you have doubts.

Trust me... I'm a scientician
As pp's said, more confident if they said 'boy'.
I'm a synic, I know several people who were told 99% they were having an 'x' who had a 'y'. I was told I was having a girl, but I've only bought 1 pink suit!

No sonographer should say 100% sure anyway.....there is always a margin of error in US

I would trust a '99%' from the Sonographer for the reason busy_bee gave.

I wouldn't but then I wouldn't trust it at the NT either, there was a thread a few weeks or days ago about a members baby girl being born. They were told it was defiantly going to be a boy.

I was told 90% chance girl, and I had a girl. I didn't go crazy buying pink stuff and did ask for confirmation at each ultrasound after, but DD became modest and wouldn't show me again lol
