WELCOME TO MY WORLD
one tonsil of mine gets these stinky not so little things all the time.

and would that be a reason to get your tonsils removed??

the bad breathe is horrendous, the taste in your mouth is foul and I just can't stand having them anymore.

I have just extraced one huge one and made my tonsil so sore and red and I still think there is more in there.

I've never heard of tonsil stones. What does your doctor think?

They are tonsil stones - little or large in your case white bits that are cheesy in texture, stink to high heaven and they are made up of food and bacteria. They hide out around your tonsils and anywhere else they can well hide.

However removal of tonsils will not stop them. I had my tonsils out at the age of 25 for recurring tonsillitis but every so often I will get these delightful things.

I would perhaps suggest using a good quality mouthwash, floss and teeth clean regularly to stop the build up of particles and bacteria.

I would also seek medical advice too but they are harmless.

Wow, I have always had these as well, usually after I have had some sort of sore throat or illness. I never knew exactly what they were but assumed they were some sort of gunk (pus?) coming from the tonsils as they smell awful and always followed some sort of throat infection.

I used to get them so often when I was a kid, but I had a lot of tonsillitis and at one stage mum was thinking of having my tonsils out. I haven't had any for years but just today I have had a couple after having a really sore throat and mystery cough for the last couple of weeks.

At least I know I am not some kind of freak, and other people get them too.
