RF longest? BIG BABIES

Which seat would you recommend for a baby likely to be big and long in terms of lasting the longest RF?

Infa Neon and Kompressor have nice high RF markers. fF markers are standard though. SnS Compaq and Lifestyle have same height RF markers but their FF markers are higher. Stay away for IGC (mothers choice, maxi cosi, aunger) seats as they have low Rf markers.

I have the safe and sound Platinum AHR. The headrest adjusts to make the seat longer. Dose anyone know, with this seat, when you have to change to FF?

I have the SNS meridian which I think is very similar to the platinum. My daughter was 97th percentile for weight and height until about 8months and I think we turned her car seat to forward facing at about 7 months. She her feet were touching the back seat! It's quite a big seat and I'm not sure you could find one to last longer rearward facing. This post has been edited by Love_Evie: 25/01/2013, 07:51 PM

Feet touching back if seat not a reason to turn FF. In the Meridian a 2004 version can be used until child hits 12kg or their head is within 2.5cm of top of seat. Generally the top shoulder slot position should not be used RF. In the 2010 standard version it has height markers which say when to turn FF.

My Dd RF till she was 22 months, she had no issues with her feet touching the back seat.

PPIs correct RF markers the same. FF markers on Compaq/Lifestyle are higher (ie telling you to go to booster seat).
