I just can't get on-board the two letter thing. It's like it was Ryder but the rest got erased.

I can't help but think you should spell it Rye (even though, yes, its a bread and a seaside town). Rye William is an OK combo. I like the classic William to keep it grounded.

It makes me think of R.M. Williams.

How about Ryan and Ry as a nickname?

Ry is not even a name just two letters slung together.

If you like Ry use it as a nn like a PP suggested you could use Ryan William. I think William Ryan sounds better, but only just.

Ry? I think I am a nno.gif

I have friends called Ry or Ry-Ry but this is short for Ryan.

BTW I love Kai. spelt Kai - not Ky.

Ty for me is also a nno.gif

I don't think Ry is a complete name. It reads like a nickname, or a typo where you've forgotten to write the rest of it.

Ky or Ty are just as awful as Ry sorry.
One thing it has going for it is that it's not going to burden him with a name he'll have misspelled his whole life. He will have to say "no, just Ry. R.Y." repeatedly but the same could be said of Cate.
