We have decided not to re-open the Non Vaccinators Support Group thread.

After much debate amongst the admin team we felt that we could not confidently prevent incorrect medical information being given out by members in regards to vaccination and natural alternatives.

Members may still discuss the vaccination schedule on an ad-hoc basis in relevant forums such as General Health and Safety Tips or Baby, Toddlers and Children, representing either viewpoint so long as medical advice is not given.

We trust that non vaccinators who wish to stay in touch will form a buddy group away from EB/EK.

Excellent decision. These groups do not need any perceived legitimacy by hanging on the coat-tails of EB. They can go and lurk in the dark corners of the net where they belong.

What fresh hell is this?
I'm very, very pleased to hear that. I know that it exists out there, but I'm pleased that EB is not going to cloak it in a veneer of legitimacy.

I trust then you will be advising EB NOT to state categorically

* that vaccinations are harmless and completely safe,

* that children who have had adverse reaction should STILL be vaccinated without question because it is a parents civil duty to vaccinate,

* that vaccinations provide immunity - when such a status cannot be verified without post-vaccination testing...

All these statements are ALSO incorrect/unsubstantiated medical information which is widely disseminated on Essential Baby.

Sif, with all due respect, you are really grasping at straws here.
