Im hoping someone can help me or help me clarify,

We have been TTC for 3 years and every month I have pregnancy symptoms which tests are always negative and right after testing AF arrives.

This month AF did not arrive now overdue 4 days so I thought id grab a test to see initially I thought there was nothing there on a First response test then I looked a little closer and can barely see a line I sent the pic to a friend who confirmed there was something there and she suggested I get a clear blue one the digital one so I did, and retested last night and much to my surprise it says pregnant 1-2 weeks.
I retested with FMU on a first response today and the line is still light but a little darker still need to squint. Is this normal?

I thought that First response were the best for testing?? I used the dipsticks one as they were out of stock of the two pack in stream urine ones.

The midsteam FR Early Result tests are considered the best, not the dip and read ones. I've read lots of stories on here of EBers not getting good lines on the dip and read tests.

Oh and congratulations!!!!!

Congratulations OP! That must feel amazingly surreal after 3 years of ttc. Let us know how your blood test results go. Wishing you a very boring, non-eventful, sticky pregnancy original.gif

I had bloods done on thursday and saturday just waiting for the results.

Dr said to call on tuesday and if all is good he will write the referral to my OB.

I was cheeky and filled out a form at pathology to have the results sent to me also so Im hoping they arrive tomorrow or Tuesday. I know that the LAB I had bloods done with put all BHCG test through as urgent so they should be on my GP's desk in the morning fingers crossed.

Im hoping everything is ok. No bleeding or even spotting. Feeling nauseous and have a huge headache, and my boobs are killing me.

Will pop in with results as soon as I have them.

THanks everyone for the congratulations, still feels surreal.
