Ok when you start transitioning baby into a sleeping bag I know you are supposed to wrap over the top of the bag.

I wrap with a large muslin, so what do you do with the bottom of the wrap?

You could fold the sleeping bag under the feet and bottom and then wrap the rest. I think that's what I did.

I transitioned our son to a sleeping bag without wrapping too. Some sleeping bags have domes that you can close at the arms too but that seemed a bit too strait-jacketish? Our son loved his sleeping bag!

I stopped wrapping my babies feet quite early, just wrapped their arms and upper body and left the rest of the wrap loose like a mermaid tail. You could do this as part of the transition to sleeping bags. However like the pps I just switched straight from wrapping to sleeping bags cold turkey.

I never had any trouble with putting bub to sleep in a sleeping bag instead of a wrap, we started this at just over 3 months. I didn't wrap him along with the sleeping bag. He has always slept with his arms out so there was never an issue with that. For day sleeps I still wrapped him though and then when he started rolling and getting out of the wrap he had day sleeps without a wrap or sleeping bag.
