I'm not sure of the exact problem, but if it's just that you can't remember the username or password it's simple enough to fix.

In iTunes, go to the iTunes store. If it's already logged on with the user you want, click on the username and select 'Account' It will ask you to log in again, just click on 'Forgot' and it will send a password reset to the email address.

If it's not logged on, just try and log on with either of the email addresses. Do the same thing, the one that is valid will have the password reset sent to it.

You can't have 2 accounts with the same email address AFAIK.
If you want separate accounts for DD and DS, you'll need 2 different email addresses.

I generally just use the one account, it means I only have to buy apps etc once and everyone can use them.

So you've created 2 separate apple ID's and use one for each iPad? You've forgotten what email/Apple ID you've used to set up your DD's account, but you know it was one of 2 emails? You've forgotten the password - is that the iTunes password, or the password to view your emails? Or both passwords?

Unfortunately it's too late now - but it would have been wiser just to use the one Apple ID/iTunes account for your purchases - that way you can make one purchase and put it on both iPads (you can install apps on 5 devices.)

This means that if your DS got a $100 iTunes voucher, and your DD got a $100 iTunes voucher - you've basically got $200 to spend.

My kids wanted their own separate iTunes account for purchases - but they like to play the same games as each other - so instead of paying for a game 4 times, we just pay for it once, and get more value for money.

My 16year old has her own separate account - but she'll be moving out in a few years time, so it made sense to have a separate one. She tried really hard to convince her siblings to use her iTunes account - but she just wanted to be able to benefit from their gift cards. wink.gif

We don't have an iPad to check - but I am assuming it's no different to the iPhone and iPod - to find the iTunes login account for your DD's iPad - just go on her iPad and go to Settings. Scroll down until you find iTunes & App Store. Tap on that, and her Apple ID should appear at the top of the screen.

I had to do that the other day as my laptop died cry1.gif , and I couldn't remember which email account I'd used when setting it up - the email was my Apple ID. (I have heaps of emails that I use, so it can be hard to keep track of when you're without a laptop blush.gif ) Once I worked out which login I'd used - I just followed the steps online and answered my security questions and was able to reset my AppleID password.
