Hi,
Following all of the positive responses to my last post and sitting on it for a week or so DH have finally decided that DD2 will be called Lara original.gif DD1 continues to refer to her as "Baby Ari" so it looks like this may end up being her NN - time will tell!
Our surname is a fairly strong German name with 1 syllable so I have been looking into longer pretty family names that will compliment Lara. DH has vetoed Isabella, Elizabeth & Juliette but is coming around to Sophia. Lara Sophia just feels "right" to me IYKWIM but would I love to get some objective thoughts or suggestions...
Thanks original.gif

Lara Sophia is pretty but for something almost the same, I think Lara Sophie flows much nicer. Lara Juliette does sound gorgeous too, shame you can't use it.

Other suggestions:

Lara Charlotte
Lara Frances
Lara Claudette
Lara Adelaide
Lara Katherine
Lara Madeleine
Lara Bethany

Lara Xanthe
Lara Emmeline
Lara Violet

I think the double a sound at the end is not as nice as Laura Sophie as PP have suggested.

Lara Sophia is lovely, I don't have a problem with the two "a" endings. Especially as you have a one syllable surname.

Personally I'd spell it Sofia, but that's a personal preference (Spanish influence here).

Lara Sophia flows perfectly and especially with a monosyllabic surname.
