So I am not a Shakira fan or anything... I just saw this 'news' on the interwebs.

Shakira has had a baby boy and she named him Milan.

The article says she chose Milan because ... “the name Milan, means dear, loving and gracious in Slavic; in Ancient Roman, eager and laborious; and in Sanskrit, unification.”

but what is the bet it is really because he was conceived in Milan wink.gif

I think Milan is ok. Not a huge fan of place names as people names, but there are some that work better then others. (probably because the name was a people name before a place name; Sydney, Paris etc)
I think Milan works ok....

Father Dougal for the Papacy!
Yep. It never would have occurred to me to think of the city in relation to this name.
