The 'How much did your engagement ring cost?' thread got me thinking. I'm shocked at some of the prices!
So how much did your wedding cost? In total, that is, including dress, attire, photographer etc. I understand that this also depends on inflation, a wedding 20 years ago would have cost a lot less.

Married 2007 in Melbourne. Outfits, rings, our accommodation, venue, absolutely everything - about 90 guests - was less than $14000.

I got married in 2007 and my wedding (everything) cost around 10K.

I eloped and got married in Fiji and had a wedding and honeymoon all in one. The best thing Dh & I did. We did plan to have a wedding where we lived with family and friends however to get everyone together on that day (Dh's family are scattered all around the world) was impossible and I cracked it and threw those plans out the window and decided to elope. The money we saved we put towards our mortgage biggrin.gif

Including honeymoon skiing in whistler... Around $20k.

Reception was around $7k. Dress only$1,200 (I say only as I was considering $6k dress, but decided to spend the money on the honeymoon).

We are about to celebrate our 10th anniversary

Eta full church wedding, cars, 75 Guests, paying for some guest accommodation, buses to transport guests from interstate. Photographer (even getting disc of digital negs). Honeymoon was 2 parts Herron island qld then skiing in Canada. Rings, flowers, everything.

Married in 2007, cost less than $3000 (total including clothing, dinner and marriage itself).

We only had 12 guests, dinner at an inner city restaurant, registry office and I married in a portmans suit (not a dress).
