Hi,
Since new year I have been doing celebrity slim, would just like to take a multi vitamin as well just so I am not missing out on anything important.

I brought the Swisse women's multi today and they are like horse tablets, I nearly threw up trying to take it and the smell OMG!!

I am after something good quality, but much smaller to take than the Swisse and preferably no yucky smell.

Thanks!

I would go for your doctor first and have a blood test to find out if you are actually deficient in anything and then if so take those things.

I have regular tests because I have a chronic illness and the blood tests can tell you lots of stuff like iron calcium etc

swisse may be big but i believe they are the best, i have coeliac disease and initially was recommended the swisse by my specialist and dietician.... i thought same v big but i notice the difference when i switched to a cheaper brand. Blackmores are good too but still big ... good luck i would go get a blood test first with your gp.

Super mum to many!
This might sound silly but how are you taking the tablets?
Are you just putting them in your mouth then having water?

I used to struggle taking tablets but had 7 I had to take in the morning at one point (all prescribed so there was no way I could avoid them.)
I found if I had half a mouthful of water, held it in my mouth. Then pop the tablet in and take a bit more water before swallowing it helped emensly. The tablets just slide down without any yucky taste or without them sticking to my tongue.

Fwiw I found the swisse ones were good. The iron in some if them reek havock with my stomach but the swisse ones didn't seem to do that.

Lilmissmars I will try doing that with the water, might help hey.

I saw my gp today and she did not want to do a blood test at all, she just said a good multi is always advisable when you are restricting your diet in anyway. She also wants me to have psyllium husks too for fiber, hope they don't taste foul!

I guess I will stick with the Swisse seeing I have brought them and keep a look out for something a bit smaller.

thanks!

Metamucil is ground psyllium husks I believe. It isn't too bad.

Though I used to get the non ground from the health food isle at the supermarket and drink it with no pulp orange juice. If you mix it like that its easy to drink as the husk with the juice is just like orange juice with pulp if that makes sense.
You can also add the husks to muesli and porridge.

Or another good one at woolworths (again in the health food section) is their gentle fibre mix. It's a few things mixed together and you add a tablespoon to muesli or smoothies etc. I used to throw it in the blender with my celebrity slim mix and some blueberries and it was really good.
