So DH and I have been talking about names alot (I dont wanna do what my brother did and not have a name until 3 days after the birth) We have settled at tme moment on:
Haleigh Rose or Mason John Basically I am just wondering what everyone else thinks. We think we have decided but it could always change... we still have a while to go before a final decision has to be made. |

Mason is bucking for number 1 of all baby names for boys in the US, and I know many. It's not unpleasant though.
I like Halle but not Hayley, and Haleigh feels very jumbled up to me, but I'm not much of a fan of -leigh at all. I like John and Rose as first names, they are simple, well-known, and feel less on-trend w/o being weird. |

I like your names but not your spelling of Haleigh. Hayley is beautiful and so is Halle as I am unsure how you pronounce Haleigh.
DH and I have been discussing names since day dot, if this baby is boy he will be unnamed for some time lol. This post has been edited by MrsLexiK: 21/01/2013, 08:33 PM |

Haleigh - terrible! How is it pronounced? I say it like Ha - lee, which sounds like Harley which is a boys name, or is it like Hayley, or Halle? Maybe consider a clearer spelling? Your child will be forever correcting people otherwise.
Mason is cute, I like. It's becoming super popular though, not sure if that worries you. |

Haleigh Rose Is that pronounced - Har-lee, Haal-lee or Hay-lee? Maybe go for a clearer spelling? Mason John Fine - but does sound a little like My son John (went to bed with his trousers on - its a nursery rhyme). This post has been edited by laridae: 21/01/2013, 08:44 PM |

If you're going to use Hayley please spell it correctly. Haleigh is an appalling use of a beautiful name.
