I think I really like it, but it came as a bit of an out of the blue idea, so I'm not sure if it's just a crazy pregnant lady idea!

Boys options are old faithfuls like William, Samuel, James, Daniel, etc, which gives a sense of our style.

Stunning.

If those are your boys style, Anna is in the same league as them.

Anna is lovely and very much in the style of the boy names you like. I love Hannah too.

Perfect.

Works on someone as a kid and as an old lady. Super easy to spell and not overly common.

Amazing choice!

Anna was one of our top choices for a girls name, unfortunately certain associates of ours pronounce it with an absolutely horrid nasal twang and make it sound so whiny that we couldn't saddle a child with it.

We compromised and gave our daughter the name "Aiyanna", it get's contracted to Anna but they use the pronunciation we wanted. I still sometimes wish we'd gone with Anna as the boys have boringly conventional mainstream names and her exotic sounding full name sticks out like a sore thumb.

Love it. In the delivery room we wavered from our original choice and nearly went with Anna. If I had another girl that would probably be her name.

It is the sort of name that is feminine, simple, but strong. You could be the prime minister or a rock star or just a normal mum!
