I CANNOT shift the grease on my glass oven door. I've tried all the commercial oven cleaners, caked on a bicarb and dishwashing liquid paste, tried a scourer and a scraper, IT WILL NOT BUDGE!

Please tell me what you use?!

I had problems with cleaning mine too. Nothing would work until I sprayed it with "Bam Oven Cleaner" left it overnight. The next day, all the grime just wiped off. Pretty toxic stuff, but I have found that I now only have to clean with hot soapy water.

I second Bam Oven Cleaner, I left mine for 2 hours and my trays were pretty bad and I was amazed how much came off.

Thanks, I will give it a go. Not sure about leaving it overnight though. Our kitchen is pretty poorly ventilated so I worry about the kids breathing it in. DP has just taken them out for the day so I could try and get it off.

Shaklee oven cleaner - it's awesome and natural.

Downside you have to order and wait for them to arrive from the US.

Same here although i just spray and leave for 30mins and then wipe off, comes up sparkling.

It is very "take your breathe away" with the fumes even with all doors and windows open and a towel over my mouth and nose it makes me cough so take care!

I get my oven cleaned professionally. We moved in to a rental and the original house oven (15 years old) was nothing short of disgusting. $105 later, it looks brand new. Trays spotless.

All non-toxic, no chemicals. No smell when they are finished, done in an hour. Amazing.

I get it done once a year. I hate cleaning ovens.

bam is awesome, however be extremely careful with it. DH has a lovely indented scar, about the size of a 50c piece, where the bam ate into his leg
