Hi, just after some opinions. I'm currently selling Tupperware, but finding getting parties is like pulling hens teeth. No one wants to have one, and i'm like the opposite of a pushy sales person, which probably doesn't help. LOL. Anyway, someone suggested giving this a go, so I was just after opinions. I'm desperately trying to find something flexible that will fit in with my FT uni and single parenting commitments.

I know you after opinions on actual consulting and this isn't one of them as I don't know.

My friend had a party though so I bought a product. I think it was $31 for the small 200 ish ml of bottle of balsamic vinegar which is a lot really. Anyway, off my credit card was an extra $6 and I found out that Flaschengeist charge every order a $6 postage fee, even though I went and picked it up from my friends place myself!! Postage to her... well I figured that would surely be included in the cost of the product as is with Tupperware etc.

Anyway, moral of the story is I will never buy from them again and I will never have a party either even though the products were great. I wouldn't have the cheek to invite my friends and have them discover for themselves that they are slogged $6 "postage" per order when really it probably just pays for the "free" host gifts. If we'd known, a few of us that only bought one thing could have combined orders.

I was not happy.

Thanks Bek-no opinions like that are exactly what I'm after! I don't want to waste my time, because i have precious little of it! That doesn't sound good at all.

Linen, candles, make-up, sex toys, kids toys, clothes, tupperware, cleaning products, jewelry... there's a party for almost everything and I think people are just plain sick of the expectation to attend and buy at exorbitant prices. I actually really like their products but the Rep I had was just terrible. I knew more about the product than her. She didn't bother telling people about the handling fee til the end after I questioned her about it. People were not happy.

She also charged me delivery fee for my free products plus the order I placed, so I got slugged $12. She then wanted me to collect the product from her - um, no.
She also stuffed up my order, twice. She couldn't get her head around a customer wanting to pay half by cash and half by card so my friend had to drop money around to her.

I do like the company but am reluctant to host a party. I buy from a friend who does it.

If you have the right attitude you could make heaps of money, the product is great, although the oils are a bit expensive.

I wouldnt bother, if you cant get parties for tupperware then goodluck getting them for Flaschengeist.

A friend of mine does Flaschengeist and does quite well from it. She tells ppl to combine orders to save on postage and informs them of website only deals etc. she says it doesn't feel like work for her coz she makes up jelly shots and liqueur dips so its like having a party. She is very outgoing so it suits her. The product is ok (from what I remember - got pg before my order arrived and now bf so haven't had a chance to use yet lol) but I mainly bought for the cool bottles
