Our DS#1 is - Joshua Thomas
second baby due in 9 weeks and have no idea ! Don't know sex of baby either.

My only thoughts are for a girl:
Megan or Emily

Have no thoughts on a boy - eeekkk !!!

I like names that you can easily have a nickname i.e. Josh for Joshua. Meg for Megan, Em for Emily etc ....

Help ??!!

I think Joshua and Megan, Josh and Meg, is great.

And I like Sif's suggestion of Gabriel. Joshua and Gabriel, Josh and Gabe. Very nice!

Megan definitely a winner. Boys - Daniel or Michael - both have a couple of nickname options but also still work as the whole name should the nominee choose to be known as such.

I like both Megan and Emily. I love Emily v. much but Megan has the edge of being both very known and not quite as popular. On the other hand I might use Emily anyway if it went with my last name because I think it is super cute.

For boys:
Alexander - Alex, Xander, Sandy, Al, etc.
Henry - Hal, Hank, Harry.
Isaac - Ike, Izzy, Zack.
Michael - Mike, Mick. I don't hear it on many little boys but everyone knows it.
Jonathan - Jon, Jonny, Jonty. - I know its another J and I tried to not load up on them but it's not too close to work, I don't think.
Zachary - Zach
Dashiell - Dash
Finnian, Fintan - Finn
