Give me my coffee and no one gets hurt!!!
I just got an email from Coles advising of a massive cheese recall. It's in the SMH as well.

Two deaths are linked to this

Here is the full list of recalled cheeses

Cobwebs are the new black!
Thanks for that. I don't believe I have any of those luckily. I do love my cheese!

Worring thing is that listeria can have a 70 day incubation period and I know I've eaten at least a kilo of cheese over Christmas - including some Jindi and Coles branded.

Here's a link to symptoms.

I'm pretty sure the only brie I have eaten is King Island but I'll check with DH to be onthe safe side. Again thanks for the heads up.

I had some Emporium brie that I was looking forward to. even though its not the triple cream type, I still chucked it. Better to be safe than sorry I think

So what we do if we bought it and already ate it? Just thank out lucky stars we didn't get sick? And keep our fingers crossed we don't get sick?

I guess so! I am not brand loyal so will buy whatever I see and takes my fancy. I am pretty sure I have eaten Jindi cheese in the last little bit but can not be entirely sure sad.gif I am not worried about me but my daughter adores soft cheeses and I know that if we had some she definitely ate it sad.gif I suppose the one good thing about this is that the doctors should be looking for it rather than just dismissing it as gastro or some such. I hope

Told my Dad to just throw out any cheese just in case. Immuno compromised it is not worth the risk.

If you have already eaten, please note it can take up to 70 days to get sick.

We've eaten a lot of Jindi since Xmas. DS1 and DS4 both love soft cheese (as well as DH and I) so I'm worried for them. sad.gif
