I'd like to know too please.

Also, I hope you don't mind OP but I don't think we need two Birky threads. I was wondering if anyone who wears Birkenstocks with socks (I am considering the London style for work) do you get the same size you wear as the sandals you wear without socks?

You can buy them at Amazon and also javari.de. I have bought at both. I paid around $55.

I buy them on the German Birkenstock site:
http://www.footshopping.com/default.cfm?AktionID=2
I usually go in with a few friends as they offer free shipping for orders $400 and over.

If you click 'Bargain Buy' at the top of the page and enter your shoe size, you get a list of all the ones on sale.

It ain’t what you don’t know that gets you into trouble. Its

I purchase Birkenstocks almost annually from Footshopping and have never had a bad experience, so why I decided to order with Tobias Mayer this year I'm not sure sad.gif . I am still waiting on an order from October that were meant to be in stock. Not happy. Fair to say that I wouldn't recommend them.

Cheap as chips & postage is $25, which covers two pairs of shoes.

I got two gorgeous pairs in very unusual flower prints which I get complimented on all the time original.gif

Amazon are also good - I got a pair of gold Gizeh from them and accidentally got them couriered (agh ! kids !). They arrived in 3 DAYS and still cost $100 less than buying them here.

I bought a pair from tobias mayer and had some issues as they did not inform me the ones i ordered were not in stock and ended up waiting a lot longer for them which i was not happy about as they were a present for DH !! however when they did get dispatched they got here pretty fast and they were cheaper than buying them here.
Ebay seem to have ones much cheaper than here too, I wanted a new pair at some stage so probably will get them from there
