Just after some suggestions of girl & boy Italian sounding names to go with a short-anglo-surname.

My family is Italian and DH & I have agreed that we would like an Italian sounding first name for our children when we have them but, in saying that, the surname is a one-syllable anglo name so it has to sound okay with that too. We've found that most italian names sound awesome with it since they generally have several syllables but yeah, just after some suggestions:

Eg:
Sophia
Isabella
...???? TELL ME YOUR IDEAS!!

Any good boy names? We're thinking it probably won't work for a boy's name as nicely as it does for a girl's name so we may not hold up on this italian name thing if it is a boy.

Matteo or Massimo are nice for boys. How about Allegra for a girl?

I like Sophia and Isabella and I also like Patrizia and Antonella.

Boys - I like Rocco and Adriano, but as you said, these may not go with your surname.
