Hi just wondering if anyone knows how I go about making a formal complaint towards a child care worker?
Basically I overheard one of the carers at my sons daycare say something very unprofessional about my son to another parent. I was actually in shock and didn't think to say anything until it was too late.
Anyway, I complained to the owner and was told they were going to be making cuts and that they have had problems with this girl etc.
Come back to returning this year and she is still there and nothing has obviously been done about my concerns. We have also been told I am not the only parent who has made a complaint towards her. And a friend of mine who's child attended said her child did not like her as he was always yelled at.
I am also in the process of finding my son a new daycare as I do not feel comfortable leaving him in the care of her.
So if anyone can point me in the direction of how to make a formal complaint that would be great thanks!

We had issues with my son's CCC. Ask for a copy of their complaints policy. They need to give this to you. There will be a point by point list that you go through in order to get your complaint heard. From memory ours started with meeting with director and ended with state director (or something like that) We were lucky and never got that far because I scared the pants off them LOL
