As it says, what were your first signs of ectopic?

I had an ectopic in March but had no idea until it was too late and my tube had ruptured... Which I had surgery for etc.
Now I'm really concerned I'm going to or am having another ectopic.

I went to the dr today and waiting on results of hcg but I am really worried.
My first thought was because my period is really light this month (usually I'm changing every hour on the first day, and only cramping for an hour or so at the beginning) and my cramping is constant and kind of a pinching pain on my left side.

I'm seriously hoping that I'm stressing over nothing.. But have no one to tell or talk to about it, so here I am talking to you guys lol...

Would love to hear how others knew BEFORE the tube ruptured.

Thanks

For me it was bleeding that I thought was my period in conjunction with a positive HPT. I had no pain in y abdomen. Just low back ache. I went for an early scan and no foetus was seen.

BlueEyed, have you got a positive test?

Fingers crossed for you.

No not yet as I'm only 10/11 dpo and I tested not using FMU..

I was just going to wait until tomorrow to test but decided bloods would be better and then I can rest and not worry.

And last time I didn't get a positive hpt until after my tube had ruptured...
The hospital tested the night I went in pain and it was negative.
I tested the next morning as they said early miscarriage, and it was positive.
So I was 7 weeks by then
