Bit of a spin-off of another thread about using grandparent's names for your children. Sorry if it's been done before. Even so, I'm sure there will be new replies.

I want to know, What are your grandparents' names? And would you consider using them for your own children?

Dad's parents are Tadeusz (Ted) and Zofia.

Mum's are Colin and Gwyndolin.

We haven't used any of these names for our boys, but have used other family names, so if pushed I would consider Zofia (or Sofia) and Colin as MN.

Edited to correct punctuation

Gertrude Mary- I've wanted to use Mary for ages, I love that name.
Charles Adrian- I like both names but probably wouldn't use them.

Mary Gertrude- I know, how much of a co-incidence is that!!
Jack- I wouldn't use Jack as it's too common now.

Mine are Lillian and Ernest, Ruby and Alfred. And no, I didn't use them for any of my children, none of my kids were given family names.
The two nanas names have done a huge comeback, it still wouldn't make me use them even if I were having my children now as they aren't names that appeal to me.

The only family name I really like is my dads, but I prefer it for a girl rather than a boy (Lindsay/Lynsey).

my grandfathers Milton Stewart and Allan Bamsey - so some usable names but went with hubby's name as middle and variant and my middle name

My Dad's parents are Eve (Eveyln) and Guy. I wouldn't use with of those.

My mum's parents are Isobel Janet (she goes by Janet) and Arthur William (goes by Bill). I wanted to use Isobel but DH banned all belle names. I don't mind William but it doesn't go with our last name
