HiI'm hoping someone has some experience with bleeding behind the placenta in late pregnancy. This week, at 34 weeks pregnant, I went to the toilet, wiped, and saw mucusy blood. I called my ob, who met me at the hospital. She did an internal and a swab and discovered fresh red blood. I stayed in hospital overnight but unfortunately all the tests / ultrasounds have found nothing. Bub is going great, I'm not feeling any pain but I'm still bleeding brownish blood. Ob concluded that I have most likely had a bleed behind the placenta and if I bleed lots or colour changes, or if I feel pain or bub stops moving I'm to go straight to the hospital.Has anyone got any advice / similar experiences? Thanks!

I had a friend who had that at 29 weeks. She went into natural labour and bub born early.
I hope all goes well and bleeding stops |
