My midwife confirmed today that baby is breech, which has explained the discomfort in my ribs at the moment.
I'm just wondering if I will feel kiddo turn around or am I unlikely to notice?

TIA!

My breech bub turned at 36 weeks and I didn't feel it. Mind you, she was one heck of an active baby anyway, so I likely just assumed she was belting my insides about like usual biggrin.gif

My breech bub also turned at 36 weeks. I was booked for a caesar due to being breech and was just at a routine appt with my Obs. He had a feel around and asked if I'd felt an almighty movement as the baby had turned. I said I hadn't felt anything!

He got the u/s machine out and sure enough she'd turned! So he expected that I'd definitely have felt it, but I didn't.

Best part was I didn't need a caesar!

Good luck!

I have had two of my four bubs turn very late and did not feel it. One was at 36 weeks. The other was at 39 weeks! I was booked in to see if they could turn him manually before going for csection and he had turned in the two days between appointments. They were both very active so I just put it down to an active night.

Wow!!

So many have said that I'll notice the movement but i'm not so sure now... Baby is pretty mellow and not much of a wriggler (Same as my DD) so maybe I will? Either way, I'm sure we'll be head down and ready for launch soon original.gif

I felt it, but I was driving at the time. Super active baby but this was different to normal movement.

I didn't... She turned twice, once at 35 weeks then turned back breech around 37 weeks, I didn't feel it either time but like PPs she was always so active I just didn't pick it from normal movement

I never felt a thing with DD but with DS I did. At 35 weeks he was breech and then the day before the scan to confirm position at 36 weeks I felt him move around, it was quite painful compared to other movements he made.

My #5 went from breech to transverse and head down and then back again several times a day. I have to think I had like an enormous black hole of a uterus that showed no resistance to his attempts to turn.
I sure felt every single turn, it was so uncomfortable, especially when he decided to chill out in transverse for any length of time sad.gif
I can't imagine not feeling it happen but I know for sure that some women don't. I wonder if it goes by unnoticed whether it happens at night when mum is asleep and her body and uterus is relaxed.

Good luck OP, hope your baby turns....try the Spinning Babies website.
