We have new neighbours next door (moved in the first week in December).

Can you complain to real estate agents over music etc? So sick of them blasting their crap music on the back patio (right outside my little ones' bedroom windows) and listening to all the sh*t, f@ck, motherf@@@er etc etc all the freaking time.

Can real estate agent do anything about that or am I wasting my time?

Also sick of their language and their chain smoking outside my kids windows which means they ahve to have their windows shut all the time and stuffy rooms, otherwise they stink like someone's been smoking IN them it's that bad. Nothing much I can do about that but I really hate it lol

Real estate is land. So you can't complain to land.

Do you mean real estate agent?

Which agent, yours? Are you renting. It is not your agent's fault. You can call police about loud music at inappropriate times.

Do you live near me, because that sounds like my new neighbours. Except mine also have VERY long and loud sex all hours of the day as well. Yes you can complain to real estate or ring police if it is excessive noise at inappropriate times etc. It is a lease condition that they provide peaceful enjoyment for their neighbours. If they have continual warnings from real estate and continue to break them they can be evicted. Just be careful but. If they are than disrespectful anyway, they may become violent or try to do the dirty on you if they find out.

You can complain though it may not achieve anything as playing music and smoking outside is not cause for eviction. I would contact your local police if the music is excessively loud or ongoing.

I did say I realised there was nothing I could do about them smoking.

Playing their loud music full of f@ck, sh*t, motherf@cker constantly though I thought might be something I could make a complaint to the real estate agent about? Or am I just wasting my time??

Just loooove having renters next door - NOT!

Have you actually spoken to them directly?

Yes, you can complain to the agent, but it's usually better for neighbourly relations to have a word with them directly.

What does their being renters have to do with their behaviour?

Don't lump all renters in together - homeowners can be feral too, you know!

At least with renters you are able to complain to the agent and possibly get them evicted. If they were owners you'd be pretty screwed.

You do realise that people who own homes can be just as offensive and act just as much like douche canoes than those who rent?

eta;

I believe you need a peddlestool to address renters from. It's mandatory.
