Take a deep breath and count to 10......
Hi.
Just wondering if I am able to request my landlord's name and address with a view to contacting them for a house offer without involving REA?

Victoria.

The name and address of our LL is on our lease... and I think the name might also be on our inspection reports too (this is in ACT).

Have you checked yours?

Im in Victoria and my landlords details are on my rental agreement.

The REA has told us that the landlord is not a nice person to deal with so i go through the REA for everything.

Ok, so have checked my rental agreement.
Landlord's address is c/o the REA.
So if I did send a letter with Landlord's name marked Private and Confidential.....

...How confident are you that REA will not open said letter and will forward it to the Landlord??

Ha !

Not too confident!!

Why not google/facebook/whitepages/electoral roll the person - see if you can track them down that way.

I would not be very confident of that. Have you tried the white pages, council, google, facebook?

I had a dodgy real estate agent so I checked the lease for the landlords name and used white pages to locate them. Sent them a letter.

Unsure about going htrough the REA.
