I couldn't keep our pregnancy a secret...... I was WAY too excited. Totally unplanned, but it was so welcome. I ended up telling all my close friends as I saw them from about 8 weeks onwards. I told my mother two days after the positive result (she thought that I was going to tell her that I got engaged - she was a little shocked at first) and from then on it was just a cascade.
If we fall pregnant again hopefully I will be able to keep my mouth shut! but I probably won't. Honestly, it was just too exciting. And when you have exciting news, you just want to share it to the world.

I don't bother. I had to wear pg uniform at work by 6 weeks with #2 I was so bloated and the normal pants were so uncomfortable and the belly on the maternity pants impossble to tick a shirt on and belt LOL so I didn't try and keep it a secret. I just let it come out naturally. Didn't announce either mind you. LOL

Same thing happened to me with my 2nd, rumours were flying around work that I was pregnant and I was only 7 weeks and had to deny it!

I don't keep it a secret. I don't see the point. I didn't announce on FB til after my NT scan, but by then all the people I wanted to tell had known for weeks! original.gif

This last pregnancy was one that I didn't tell straight up, only cause I was NOT happy about being pregnant and wanted to be able to tell people without crying! I lasted til 8 weeks this time.

I don't see the point of keeping it a secret. I would hate to go through a miscarriage without anyone being able to support me as they hadn't known about the pregnancy.

But, to each their own.

Unfortunately I did have a miscarriage 2 months ago and although I told a few people I wouldn't want many to know at work as I work in a school and would hate to have to keep telling people if I did lose this one. Personal choice.

I'm of the don't lie to anyone camp.... I had to tell last time due to work hazards, but having just POAS this morning I'm hoping to keep it quiet for a few more days!

Haha I am only 4 weeks pregnant and I have already told all my immediate family and best friends.

Everyone else will just have to wait until 12 weeks but it's our first baby and I am SO excited I just want to scream it from the roof. In saying that, I am also terribly worried that something is going to go wrong.
