Hello lovely ladies,

My body is doing some really weird stuff at the moment, and I'd love to know if any other EB members have experienced the same!

I'm 32 and DH and I have been TTC since last May; no luck so far. This past weekend, which would have been about 8DPO, my boobs suddenly felt much fuller and very tender. Then I spontaneously developed thrush, which I used to get frequently in my early 20s but haven't had for a good seven or eight years. I know thrush is quite common in early pregnancy, and the fact that it came on so suddenly and after so many years meant I couldn't help allowing myself a brief 'maybe this is the month!' moment.

But now I'm not so sure. I've had some light spotting/pinkish discharge for the past day or so, slightly heavier today but not heavy enough to be AF (which isn't due until Monday anyway). I have suspected endometriosis (not yet confirmed, but textbook symptoms) and always spot for a few days before my period.

So now I'm like, 'Is the bleeding due to the thrush? Is it my usual pre-period spotting? Is it an implantation bleed? Or is it just a lighter-than-usual period?' I'm driving myself (and poor DH!) mad! My boobs are still sore, but not as much, and I've gained a little weight this week (but if I'm honest, that probably has more to do with biscuits and sloth). I went to my GP yesterday, but she couldn't give me a definite answer. I also did a HPT on Monday, but I knew it was way too early and would be negative, which it was.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this? Were you pregnant or not? I know I should just wait, but patience has never been my strong suit!

I saw no-one has replied to this yet - I'm still pretty new to this but will give it a go...

Some of your symptoms could be explained as normal, like the breast tenderness (many people get this in their cycles), and weight gain. I have, however, been hearing that spontaneous cases of thrush can appear in the 2WW for people that are pregnant! Also, spotting could be implantation related. So the combination of all symptoms sounds promising!

If the spotting does happen to be implantation, it's usually not until at least 2 days after then that HGC levels are high enough to be detected in a hpt. This would be why you got the BFN, and probably why your doctor couldn't tell?

If I were you, I'd wait until 14dpo & test again, or wait until a few days after AF is due. I'm not wanting to get your hopes up too high though - still be expecting that all the signs could just be AF related, or a coincidence, in case it is a bfn.

I hate to put a damper on it but thought I’d share my experienceas it might help someone.



32 also and TTC since May 2011 & have every commonpregnancy symptom in the book. I think sometimes it’s just your hormonescausing havoc. Especially after coming off the pill. I have pregnancy symptomsa week before cycles was due for 10 months straight.



One month sore breast and acne, next month sore breast andconstipation, next month nausea, next month bloating and sharp pain on one sideof my tummy, next month headaches and tiredness. Etc etc.



19months later and still no pregnancy. Every month for 10months I thought I was pregnant and got so excited and then such a letdown whenI did a test.

Hi

I also have had exactly the same spotting ect as you...spot 2 days before AF but this time i started spotting 7 days after O for 2 days.Today nothing so far.I am due for AF between monday and thursday ....
I dont have sore boos or anything eles but I never so get any when preg.

I have XF for us both!
