Hi ladies

Just thought I would stop in this forum to ask a couple of questions....

Since Monday night - I have taken 4 pregnancy tests which have all come up positive (2 were FR which came up with a very strong line)

I went to the docs yesterday to get blood work and am getting my results back today sometime. I am now so nervous that he is going to tell me they are negative - surely all those tests cant be wrong.

Anyhoo....this would probably mean that I am around 4 weeks pregnant....and I have been having cramps on and off for a few nights now. Apparently this is normal? Anyone else get this?

From one anxious mama!

Hi OP!

I think four positive tests warrant a big congratulations, there's no doubt you are indeed pregnant!

Don't worry about mild cramping, it's your body making room for baby to get growing. Try not to stress over cramping and every little twinge too much, you'll drive yourself nuts and it's totally normal. In most cases you only really need to start getting concerned if cramping gets really bad or is coupled with bleeding.

Congrats again biggrin.gif

Cramping in early pregnancy is very normal. I had a lot of it with both of mine and they were fine original.gif

Try not to stress (easier said than done, I know). 4 positive tests is very good original.gif

Sounds pretty good to me - I did 8 pregnancy tests just to make sure it was positive! hahaha.
Congratulations!
This is my first too so I am anxious about everything. I had crampy feelings too. Sometimes the cramping was so bad I was sure I would have a period. But it's all part of the process - Round Ligament Stretches.

I had severe cramping with DD, doubled over with pain and crying my eyes out. I have always suffered from period but the cramps were extreme. Took myself off to the Doctors to find out what was wrong with me, turns out i was pregnant.

Doctor said it was perfectly normal.

Hi Ladies

Just thought I would give you an update.

Got a call from the doctors with my bloodwork - I am indeed pregnant!
From my own calculations, I thought I was around 4.5 weeks.
He said my HcG levels were 146 which would put me in around the 2.5 - 3 week category, so I am going back to have more blood tests on Saturday to make sure that my HcG level is doubling as it should be, then we should be able to get a more accurate result.

SO EXCITED!!!!!!!

Congrats OP!

I too had cramping a fair bit in the first trimester and here I am almost 27 weeks original.gif

Enjoy your pregnancy and hopefully you don't get too many nasty side effects (eg morning sickness!)
