Darn so close to bronze... I'll read up on what I missed and be back...

I'll just put some comments up in themes as I'm sorry I'm terrible with names at the moment...

food - last time I was what I would call practically sensible about it all. I was travelling interstate for work for about half my pregnancy so I always ate out. I had cold meats for lunch every day pretty much, but always made sure it was a reasonable looking sandwich place. As much as it killed me though I avoided sushi, soft cheese etc. This time I'm pretty much the same. (I had thought about being a bit more lax about it until there was that big listeria thing just about xmas time from King Island or Jindi or whoever it was).

Whoever mentioned the mussels and prawns - if they're hot they're ok. I know my SIL in the UK said they were told not to eat shellfish, but I ate prawns by the bucketload last time. They are delicious.

I'm still eating like a horse, popping past the local bakery on my way to work to pick up a savoury roll/mini pizza thing to have for morning tea, plus I'm trying to balance things out by eating carrots - they're easy to take to work and they stop me thinking about chocolate.

symptoms - I am so bloated. By the end of each day I look about 4 months pregnant. Yesterday it wasn't helped by the fact I had a big burrito for lunch which was full of beans, needless to say the other elegant pregnancy symptom (farting ohmy.gif ) reared its ugly head all night. No more beans for me. Otherwise I feel ok. I stood on the scales this morning and I seem to have put on 1kg already *sigh* it's the food, hopefully with running around after a toddler it won't get out of control like last time.

So yes, my clothes fit but from a work perspective with this giant bloated belly I am wondering how much longer I can keep all this up. And I'm only 6 weeks.

bloods etc - I never had any HCG levels taken. Both times my GP has just said "ok" when I said I was pregnant and packed me off to the OB. I'm booked in 13th Feb which seems so far away, the days are just dragging along. I think perhaps because I found out maybe a week or so later last time, it feels like I've been p/g for months and months.

AFM - DD is being a bit of a pain at the moment and not sleeping, crying for hours and hours, it's stressing me out. I'm still having really weird dreams, like every night. They're getting stranger by the night, I don't remember this from last time.

I'd better go and have some lunch. Enjoying the peace and quiet though while DD is asleep *bliss*

Hi ladies!

I think it's time I join this group, I got my BFP on 30/12 and am due on 4/9. This will be my 2nd baby as I already have a 17 month old boy!

I got my blood results yesterday and my HCG was 45632 which was taken at 6 weeks 3 day - my Dr looked a little surprised but it is in the normal range. I think it must be one healthy baby or twins!!

I'd love to join the FB group just let me know who to PM.

Renee
