Mirena fell out., What should I do?

I was getting some lunch ready for the kids then felt something uncomfortable. Had a quick feel and found the whole thing in there!!! It had fallen right out. Should I go see a doctor? Could I be pregnant as hubby and I had sex last night and I know sperm can last a while? I think I might just go back on the pill after this.

It just fell out?? Crikey! Yep I'd go to the doctor. I'm not sure about pregnancy, but better to check I guess. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Thanks Kerrie. I have also heard of some bad side effects after it comes out, like depression, anxiety, heavy bleeding etc. Has anyone ever experienced that?

When was it inserted? I would see a GP tomorrow and assess whether you need the morning after pill. I have has two in and neither have fallen out, but it can happen in the first few weeks.

wow, mine half came out but it was extremely painful and had to be removed by a dr. Go see your Dr

I could just feel it in my vagina afterwards.

Because a merina is impregnated with hormone, it may cause a shift when removed. Please go and see your Dr.
