The fembos go so overboard.
Obviously I am on EB at the moment, but with my biological multi-tasking skills saw an ad for Rat Bastards on 7mate (DH is half-watching Family Guy).

A show where grown men run through the swamps of the Deep South and blow up, yes blow up! swamp rats. Blow up their nests, where their cute babies might be sleeping, using explosives. And they were laughing about it! It made me quite upset.

WTF sort of TV show is that? Why do we show this crap? Who do I complain to?

Shape-shifting Reptilian Overlord
Ugh. The rubbish coming out of the US at the moment is disturbing. Swamp people, Pawn Stars, American Diggers, Lizard Lick Towing, ,etc. The ads are more than enough to put me off watching any of it but Rat Bastards sounds like a new low.

I guess you could complain to the station which is airing it. I'll hazard a guess that it's 7Mate. (oh, you said that, duh) If enough people complain they'll stop showing it and if enough stations stop buying it they'll stop shooting it. I doubt it'll stop the manky swamp folk from blowing up the rats though.

There's a whole host of similar redneck shows on at the moment. Turtleman, Swamp People, there could be more. I've only seen them when they've been on at the in-laws house while we're visiting, but I think at least Swamp People involves the regular killing of animals.

Someone must enjoy it or I don't know why so many of these programs exist.

Cobwebs are the new black!
Wow that sounds like a new low!!!

I actually don't mind Pawn Stars, the artifacts are interesting and they usually only get the high quality stuff though I have heard it's gone downhill a bit. I watched the first few episodes once at Mum's and it was good original.gif

I just wrote that I'd boycott 7Mate until they stopped airing Rat Bastards on their Facebook page. Maybe if 7Mate get enough negative feedback they'll cancel it from their line-up. Doesn't save those poor, defenceless swamp rats, though sad.gif

I wonder if the stars of this show are so inbred they need to put subtitles translating redneck to english like a lot of these other sorts of shows.

I wrote on their wall too. I get that these animals are considered pests but the killing of animals should never be used for entertainment purposes!!
