Baby number two is on its way and I was to stock up on some snacks that DS 25 months will eat easily while I'm feeding etc. I have thought of natural popcorn. She hates dried fruit but loves normal fruit so I'll prepare some of that.I'll try to cook up some muffins and slices and freeze them but any ideas of some easily purchased snacks that aren't too unhealthy.

Rice thinsBaked beans - little tinsTinned tunaBake up a heap of mini muffins and freezeMake oatmeal cookies for you and her
We don't do store bought snacks due to a preservative sensitivity, but the organic sweet/salty popcorn is (was) awesome. Flat breads and dips - dips last a week or so in the fridge. |

Our favourite bought snacks are:
Tubs of diced peaches in juice Cheese slices or fingers (not processed cheese) Hummous and rice crackers Mini tins of baked beans (although more often at a meal) ETA my toddler also happily eats chickpeas from a can, or a bowl of defrosted peas and corn kernels This post has been edited by JBH: 15/01/2013, 09:14 PM |

My kids get:
Cheese sticks, carrots, boxes of sultanas or other dried fruit. apples/pears/bananas crackers (saos etc), with their cheese sticks If you start teaching her now how to handle food she hasn't had before (ie how to peel a banana, or whatever it is), she'll be fine with stuff like this in no time. |
