Hi all...

I am TTC no 2 and have been charting since about August last year but I have been learning along the way so I cant call my charting consistent by any stretch.

I have just started using Fertility Friend Ap on my iPhone because I think it will help to prompt me to record all the various bits and pieces and because it provides a picture, it helps keep me checking in.

I am wondering if my partial data entry in months gone by (such as no temps in October etc) will be helping me get skewed stats. I have back-entered all of my past data which I was recording manually on paper. And, from beginning of January, I will now be able to be consistent and thorough in my data entry now that I have a grasp of what I am doing and why.

The result is that according to FF I havent ovulated since Jul/Aug and it shows that my luteal phase is only 6 days long according to averages. This leads me to wonder if the missing data in past cycles could be making it all read a bit odd.

Any thoughts would be welcomed...

I unfortunately only appear to know my stuff because I've been TTC for ages Tounge1.gif

To find the link to your chart go to the horizontal menu up the top, click "Sharing" then under "Charting Home Page" go to "Get Code" and it will tell you your chart address original.gif

Hi there - I'd be keen to see your chart as well but I think the missing temps might throw things off. If you have months where you have very little data, it might be worth ditching from FF all together. As you continue to use FF, you'll quickly build up new patterns that will make it easier to see what's going on. I also used the app - it's a great idea and makes it easier to remember to record what's going on ! Good luck!

Hi OP - your link above doesn't seem to work, just takes us to the login page. Either find the link the way canine said, or to get it from the iPhone app, click on More > Share/email chart. From there, you can either go to the create/preview home page & copy the link there, or go via email chart link & email yourself the links, which gives you the straight URL, the HTML link and the BB code. I'm not sure which one works best in EB (maybe the bb?), but should get there somehow original.gif

Anyway, I've only recently started charting too & entered old data, mainly just AF dates, and it seems to work ok, but my months were all between 28-31 days, so no weird ones to skew the data. It also doesn't show O, but that would be due to me not recording enough info to predict that. I'm guessing the more data you put in now though, the more it will be able to predict O, AF, etc. I did think it would pretty much reset each cycle, but just give you estimations based on previous data, then even out when months seemed more regular?

Good luck! I'm just about to start temping & using opks, so might start sharing after then!

OK... I went to FF and set p my own homepage. Now instead of my 'home' showing my chart dashboard, it comes up a blank white page called Alli's chart. Once I click on the side where it says 'My Chart' it takes me into my page of data etc.

When I clicked on share, get code it offered a page of stuff. The top two codes were for web page or browser - long code and a short one.

The next section said for sharing chart in blogs etc so I have copied both the long and short.

I hope it works. If not, I am so sorry. Please bear with me and let me know what I am doing wrong! Thank you so so much.

Remember to click on the left where it says my chart. The first page it takes you to is blank and very uninviting.

Hmm... Couldn't get any of your links to work, sorry!

I'll see if I can play around with mine after work tonight to see if I can link mine.
